The main basin holds at 36°, open for the whole session. Stone benches under the arcade, a cold plunge at the far end.

Steam under the dome, black soap and a kessa glove. Rinse at the fountain, then sit until your breathing slows again.

Azzun Botánica
Made on the island in small batches, from Canary botanicals. The same oils and soaps used in the treatment rooms.
Hydro-nutritive body oil
Cold-pressed on the island from Teide broom and almond. Deeply restoring after the hammam, with a dry finish that never marks a robe. 100 ml.
Cooling body mist
Rock rose, laurel and orange flower, distilled in the Anaga hills. Made for the twenty minutes between the plunge and the resting room. 100 ml.
Volcanic facial clay
Grey basalt clay with aloe grown in the south of the island. Draws the heat out of the skin after steam. Ten minutes, twice a week. 60 ml.
Hammam essentials
Eucalyptus black soap with a ramie glove — the exact pair used under the dome. Everything you need to keep the ritual going at home.
Resting room candle
Beeswax, dragon tree resin and a trace of pine smoke. The scent of the resting room, poured into a reusable basalt vessel. 40 hours.
Our commitment
Tenerife has never had water to spare. Everything in the house is built around returning what we borrow, and taking less of it each season.
Around the house
Half an hour in any direction and the island changes completely. A few things worth building a day around.
45 minutes east
Laurel forest older than the Atlantic crossing, with paths that drop from cloud into black-sand coves. Go early — the ridge holds mist until eleven.
Plan the walk
15 minutes west
The fishing harbour, the botanical garden and four streets of nineteenth-century balconies. The best guachinche in town has no sign on the door.

Above the cloud line the island turns to rock and silence. Book the cable car for the first ascent and be back at the house by your afternoon session.
